Will this week never end?

Attempted to throw myself into the Northumberland Strait after what's been a tough work week. But deemed it too unsafe, so only went up to my waist and just walked around: had to step through 10 feet of soft ice along shoreline, air -12C (10.4F), 28km/h (17.4 miles) winds with gusts to 38km (23.6 miles), the bay was emptying out really fast considering it was supposed to be high tide. Uh, nope. But still good to be outside and in the sunshine.
