I didn’t swim, but I had immense joy in directing 82 swimmers in their crossing from Kingston to Wolfe Island over the past weekend in Ontario, Canada. King Wolfe Swim, 5k and 11km races, in sparkling waters where the St Lawrence seaway meets Lake Ontario. After the swimmers got underway, I boarded the safety boat to cross over to the finish – my favorite part, because I get to watch them swimming, always amazed at their skill, determination and sportsmanship. What an incredible day…
*photo cred goes to swimmers/kayakers on the route!
