A HUGE congrats to marathon and cold water swimmer Jessi Harewicz, who was just recognized by the Irish Long Distance Swimming Association (ILDSA) for both being the first Canadian to cross the chilly waters between Ireland and Scotland but also for having the toughest conditions of the season. The water temp averaged 15C throughout, and weather conditions kept her in the water for about 18 hours. Not much of a surprise coming from a Canadian, but she complained during the swim that it was too warm 🙂 what an epic swim!
