Chilly swim, Meech Lake 10.4C

Great swim with friends this morning, windy and chilly. Air 10.5C, water, 10.4C(50.9F), 2550m swum. Woke up feeling crappy from the onset of a cold, dragged myself out of bed, picked up Diane and made our wake up to the lake. Meech is beautiful this time of year, the shore is lined with trees, I like to stop halfway out from the island, tread water, and take in the view facing down to O'Brien Beach. Free therapy for the body and mind. I spotted ducks, and heard a loon. A little fish bumped my leg on the second round of the island. At least I think it was a fish.
